The Pro model features a comfortable round knob that reduces strain when handprinting large blocks (four feet or more). This is Matt Bagley’s original vision for the ultimate high-performance glass baren — and after selling out last year, it’s finally back in very limited quantities.
 
Originally designed to print warped or damaged blocks that couldn’t run through a press, the Pro Print Frog® handles paper of all thicknesses and all types of relief blocks with ease. It’s also exceptional for relief printing on fabric, monoprinting, chine-collé, and has even been used by printmakers to successfully print intaglio plates and bleed-edge lithography.
 
A standout feature of the Pro model is its borosilicate glass construction — the same ultra-durable, heat-safe glass used in scientific and culinary applications — making it the go-to tool for encaustic monoprinting.
 
Each Pro Print Frog® is hand-blown in Texas by skilled glassblowers. Because they are handmade, every baren is unique in size, shape, and color, a true artisanal tool you can feel in your hand.
